Here is another picture of Joy's dress, for Jayne ;) I have now washed it and re-crinkled it, by twisting it and tying it in a knot- it is a crinkly cheesecloth. I have some more in a lovely prurple with little embroidered stars.
And this is what they were doing at 9.30 pm- After mowing the lawn I thought it was looking a bit scorched so I got the sprinkler out and thought I'd just put it on while they went to bed- but they had other ideas- they just thought it was the best game ever and ran about singing "it's winter in Australia", getting their clothes soaked. I had to shower them down when they got in as they were covered in grass cuttings.
I thought we'd make the most of the last day of term today and go to the swimming pool, which turned out to be a really good idea and I felt much better and refreshed all evening- I'm sure they did too.

running in a sprinkler sounds like fun to me.

Love that dress, wish I could make something similar. Sprinkler sounds just the tonic in this weather :-)
