2. A large straw star, which I painstakingly made a couple of years ago, only to find they had something very similar in IKEA.
3. Bright orange fairy lights from Holland.

1. Chocolates

That you didn’t do this year but hope to do next year:
1. Have lots of friends round
or 2. Go and stay in a cottage in a wood in the snow
3. Stay awake all day on Christmas day, and be happy
On second thoughts I might just do away with Christmas altogether- Solstice was much better.
Favourite presents:
1. Gnome soap on a rope from Josee (it's the thought that counts)
2. A gold purse, from Joy (just what I need, for keeping all that spare money in, maybe it's good luck!)
3. Scarf, Not too long, brown with flashes of turqouise and fluffy bits (which I knitted for myself, and today discovered coordinates superbly with my turquoise hat and brown fustian jacket)
That you're glad you didn't get for Christmas:
1. biscuits
2. a hangover
