zen and the art of household maintenance

So much to say but not the time or energy, so here are some pictures and notes, which begin to tell the story of how the arrival of two fluffy small animals galvanized me into action...

Wednesday: it was frosty and snowy. We put out the bird feeder. I pondered a lot about rabbits.

Thursday: I started tiling the hall.

The rabbits arrived, via Megs's driving lesson. I met "Tawny" and he gave us some useful rabbit tips. (He is just not how I imagined him at all- Its funny when youv'e talked to someone on the phone and you get a sort of mental image). Here is Snowball. She is just a ball of fluff.

Friday: The rabbits played with rock castle. Apparently you are supposed to give them things to play with, or they will get bored. For some reason I find this slightly amusing. Yes, there are two, and I can tell them apart. Here is Miffy looking very rabbit-like.

I finished the major part of the quarry tiles, which would have killed my back if I hadn't made it to Tai Chi. It was looking a bit doubtful when Meg forgot she was babysitting, but I did and it was good. Apparently I am a very fast learner and look like I mean it (it is a very 'practical applications' approach, ie, martial arts). So be afraid. Be very afraid.

I am impressed with your tiling!!
Are they going to be indoor house bunnies? Our guinea pig lives indoors from Nov-March but in a hutch though I let her run around the kitchen often.
Cute bunnies!!

Well, they have been indoors while it's cold, but allowed to run round the garden. They're getting a bit difficult to get inside before it goes dark! Was offered a large hutch on freecycle but someone went and nicked it before I had the chance to pick it up! Looks like I'll be needing Gill's hutch, whatever state it's in.
