On Friday Joy went skating while me and the boys had a lovely day at home with visits from my friends, Dave, Martin and Michelle. Martin brought Jago round for a play, although I think he was still struggling with his recently mended leg and, bless, the boys didn't realise he wasn't quite up to the usual riding-bikes-around-the- house antics. Then I took Joy up to the stables for a spot of horseriding.
In the evening, after an exhilirating tai chi session, I drowned my sorrows (in shandy) at the Trades Club, watching this wierd bunch of hippies (Wierd String Band) doing folk renditions of unlikely song combos (eg, Tainted love/Wuthering heights), no, it really was quite entertaining, and a lovely atmosphere at the Wierdigans night, but somehow I didn't quite feel like dancing.
