Howarth

On Tuesday we fitted in a flying trip to Howarth to meet up with the Ilkely cousins. We wandered round for half an hour before they finally got there. Paid homage to Spooks. Its full of books on witchcraft and fairies. (I wonder if Tech has been there?). Its shuts at 3 on weekdays.

Also we went to the the apothacary, where we bought gifts for Imogen, who's impromptu birthday party we had been invited to that morning: A slice of "cake" soap and bath bombs. Freddie was keen to get himself a bathbomb, which he has now used. I think we shall be returning there anon.

I spotted this outside a shop; it's full of roses, Howarth! (This is nearly my ebay name, by the way)

The children had obligatory ice creams before returning to Hebden.
I always love that road coming back from Oxenhope.

Yes, I thought you would have found it, Tech ;-)
I was especially drawn to "the real witches garden"

I love the apothecary, but it should sell some more useful apothecary things. Oh blimey, perhaps I should move house.
