http://tinyurl.com/2j53oy is the one I have. It is very effective but you'd want it out of view when showing people round me thinks. Also not sure how quick it will be in clearing them completely. We vac daily yet there are so many places fleas can hide they still jump into the lamp. I even tried an £11 can of skoosh - non-insecticide flea spray you put on carpet but you need that one can for one room maybe 2 cans. If you find any other useful flea clearing stuff please blog it and good luck xxxx
ps I know my sis used flea powder in her flat but it is insecticidal so not pleasant and not sure how effective unless your house is empty as you wouldn't be able to cover every surface.

I would not have thought the blue light things would be any use for fleas, only for flying insects.

Where do you have the fleas - everywhere, or just a part of the house you let the pets go?

Rosie try http://www.cuttingedgeconsumerproducts.co.uk/4_in_1_Pest.php?gclid=CO-Ogr64-I0CFQTalAodtTy3Kw
you want any that have an insect setting but make sure they are dual ie sonic + electromagnetic so the go through all wires
no place to hide then when you think all lamps comps etc the effect is great i use one for spiders , flies, whatever is bothering me i just turn switch to that pest. that google one looks the best buy second link

Lou- Thanks- I didn't find this on amazon- I think I will try it.
Tim- thanks for advice- i think you may be right. The fleas seem to come from mainly in a particlar part of the boys room, but get everywhere, especially when they walk across the rug in the night and then get into my bed, ew! i have now started to fill the gaps in the floorboards where I suspect they are living.
Thanks, Elaine, I've had a look, but a bit worried about the wabbits to have a sound repeller, and I don't think we'll get any more now the cat has gone.
