The boys were very impressed by this chocolate mountain we saw today in the window of Spirals, fairtrade shop in Hebden Bridge, advertising Fairtrade Fortnight.
We were on our way to a committee meeting at the arts centre, during which they were very good, quietly drawing, and ended up pulling up their chairs to listen to the meeting.
Yesterday we re-started the Home- ed group in Hebden and it went well, with 10 children there, even though 5 of the families that were coming before have all dropped out. My aim is to keep it short, simple and friendly, with an activity like painting, sticking or modelling each week. My storyteller friend is also coming back.
