But this time I didn't get round to gardening, which I had been really looking forward to, as I had had a difficult week and was feeling quite frayed round the edges. Fergus fell off the swing and broke his wrist, so I ended up in that all too familair A&E for a couple of hours, after frantically trying to get someone to help so Joy could stay at school and go to horseriding. I gave up and left for the hospital but had to go back as I had left my purse lying around the in garden. When I went back in Martin (Meg's dad) was phoning me back (no mobile signal there) and offered to do it.
So anyway, Fergus was very brave. Here he is not wanting to show anyone his pot.
... But I caught him running away!
And this is what wev'e been doing since yesterday afternoon: Packing! We are moving on the 8th of June!
Michelle came round on Friday and Saturday and helped me out- she was great.
Dave came round for tea tonight and the kids got all excited, and it was lovley to see him, as usual, although we never got round to doing any tai chi.

Good luck with the packing. I started de-cluttering before my last move (2 1/2yrs ago) but then ran out of steam and ended up chucking it all in boxes instead - which I regretted when it cam to un-packing!!!!
aargh! Poor Fergus, and poor you. Hope the packing is going well.
Broken anything in the body I fear..so was reassuring to hear that it is possible to survive it! Sorry to hear about the stress with your dad and all...everything comes at once. Good idea to make sure you are taking extra care of yourself right now...am sending you some extra special cyber healing broth and hope that next week is less taxing for you.

Aw Fergus! Looks like a very cool blue cast though, did he get a choice of colours? I'm almost tempted to go get my foot x-rayed if he did ;-)
O, yes, but they only had blue, red, pink or white. i remember Meg had orange on one of her broken wrists ... what is it about my offspring and wrists? I know you would have to have puple, Tech ;-)
