After spending most of the day at home, trying to do something about the house, (I managed hoovering my room and bathroom, the washing up, and a little bit of painting) I just had to get away from it, and decided to head to the builder's merchant's for some paint. It was shut, but I called in at Callis, where Guy was sawing up large quantities of wood, and we took his daughter for a row on the canal, had tea on his boat, and sat round the fire for a bit

Oh that brings back some nice memories. I love that bit of canal, we used to chug up and down it a lot, until ex-dh lost our boat. Yup, he lost a whole canal boat. *Rolls eyes*
