I'm absolutely shattered now, not sleepy, just weary. I've been feeling a bit funny all day, but managed to get a bit of energy up to finish off the lawn and do washing, (which Freddie kindly brought in before it was dry); clean a few windows, and lie down in the sun. Yes, it was sunny and hot! I was almost tempted to get the paddling pool out, but later Fergus came up to me doing a kind of funny dance, which I couldn't interpret, so Joy had to do it for me- he wanted to put a tent up. So I got the big tent out (no, not very big, infact less than half the size of Elaine's but big enough for four in theory). I got the outside bit up then ran out out energy. They finished it off and got out air beds and blew them up, and filled it with bedding and now they are all in it. Freddie asked me where I was going to sleep tonight, and I said I don't know, I don't think there's room for me on the big air bed. Later he said I'm sleeping in the tent and you're not coming in, even to read a story. So that's me told, isn't it? So he doesn't want a feed then???
Meg came for a few hours. She brought me shower gel and smelly stuff (all matching) and forgot to bring the eye liner. She fed the kids and me with stuff she had brought round. I was in bed at this point. In fact I cried when she came as I had wanted to be more together and have a lovely meal for her, etc etc. But she sat on the end of my bed and we had a nice chat eating chocolate. She's given up smoking- eek! I'll have to be very good. Her latest is that she wants to get her own house, so a hefty deposit is all she now requires and I can get a smaller 3 bed house- hmmm???
Meg put Joy on the bus to Hebden for Judo. Joy hadn't done this on her own before, but Meg pointed out she was doing it every day at her age. Martin came up, picking up Joy on his way. I had to get up so I could say hello to Martin. I wasn't sleepy, just felt like lying very still in bed. I hadn't felt like going down to the market today, even though we were very short of food. For breakfast we had freebee yogurt and Guy's raspberries, and alpine strawberries from the garden.
I wish I had all those fruit trees that Guy has, in fact, if I had Guy to go with them that would be an almost perfect arrangement. I say almost, as I think I should give men a wide birth at the moment- it always seems to end up all pear shaped and I obviously just can't handle it.
And I don't think I've got the energy to work on that festival, unless its something quite sedantry, but then that could be really boring, and I'll get stuck in one place and won't be able to move around and talk to people. No I think I'll just go and watch.

LOL, Meg sounds like a very dynamic character! ;-)
Yes, she does have her moments and is very driven by determination, Hmm, where does she get that from, then?
Are they all asleep?
urm, presumably they are now: They don't have a torch (cruel mummy.)I'll have to leave my bedroom window open just in case, but I think they'll find their way in if need be. O, I know what's weird- FREDDIE IS OUT THERE TOO. I'm just on another planet.
